Accessibility

Voice should be another way in—not another barrier.

Nokie is designed for keyboard-led use, readable product states, and system-controlled permissions. This page records the current accessibility scope and the route for reporting a problem.

Keyboard

Core use without a pointer

Desktop dictation starts and ends with a keyboard shortcut. Site navigation, buttons, tabs, disclosures, and account actions are intended to remain keyboard operable with visible focus.

Communication

State is not color alone

Ready, listening, processing, and completion states use text labels in addition to visual treatment. Decorative motion respects the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.

Compatibility

System settings stay in control

Microphone, speech recognition, Automation, and Accessibility permissions remain under the operating system’s controls. Secure fields are not appropriate dictation targets.

Known boundaries

Voice recognitionRecognition accuracy can vary by speaker, environment, microphone, and language. Launch support is English-first.
Target applicationsNot every application or custom text field exposes the same insertion behavior. The transcript remains available for manual paste when automatic insertion is unavailable.
Website mediaProduct demonstrations are supplemental. Essential product, privacy, plan, and support information remains available as text.
